i made that

its hard to find your pieces on the finished product shelf sometimes because they look so different after firing in the kiln.  and its natural to look at other people's pieces for comparison and inspiration.  I was admiring one particular piece for its color and shape. i liked it a lot. 

turns out I made it.

took me a while to realize it was mine, but there was my name on the bottom when I turned it over.  

that's what you call self-affirmation.

fell in love with a girl at the gym. petite little Asian girl, nerdy, glasses, soft body, doing pull ups and twice body weight deadlifts for reps, throwing weight around like no thing, in a black shirt that said "bang first, regret later".
